The Carver Emergency Medical Service is a separate municipal emergency department from the Police and Fire Departments and operates two Class 1 Advanced Life Support ambulances from its quarters directly behind the Carver Town Hall. The management of the Emergency Medical Services Department consist of EMS Director, Thomas M. Walsh, and Deputy EMS Director, Karen R. Fein and Richard Leopardi.

The department has no full-time personnel and is staffed by approximately 18 "Call" Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics with two scheduled on-duty at all times and at least one of the on duty personnel standing by at the station.

The department is fully funded by receipts for services rendered, primarily from insurance payments.
