The Emergency Management Agency, formerly known as Civil Defense, continuously works in developing and updating information to coordinate Town responses to such diverse hazards as hurricanes, blizzards, hazardous material incidents and nuclear power plant accidents.

We have a large Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located in the basement of Town Hall that is activated during any of the above incidents.

You are encouraged to call either of the above telephone numbers if you are unable to reach other departments, during an incident, due to the heavy volume of calls.
